Dota 2 Store Page. Hello, As stated in title dota is running at 30 fps with i7 and gtx on pretty low graphics settings. This is on windows 7, the game is running on windowed x I tried a lot of launch options and that didn't feel like much of a difference. I am pretty sure every drivers and libraries are up to date. Not sure what is going wrong here.

Lower your in-game resolution. I guarantee you will get a massive fps increase. You may need to do some finangling to get a good ratio, but it works. Just don't expect it to look pretty.
Thanks for the hints, already tried those launch options. The video settings and launch options of Dota 2 can be optimized to increase your FPS and improve your gameplay. On the web, you can find several configuration files to replace yours and boost the fps. These adjustments are useful if you are struggling to reach an acceptable amount of fps as you are using a low-spec PC, but also if you have a monitor with a high refresh-rate as you bought it to gain an edge in a competitive game such as Dota 2.
Launch Dota 2, click the Settings icon on the top left, and open the Video tab. I will show you how to set up each option for maximum performance.La cover di michela resi di send in the clowns per il re dei clowns
I suggest using the advanced settings, but in some cases this option is helpful to solve bugs. It depends on your display, but nowadays the great majority of the monitors have a aspect ratio. Using your native resolution is desirable for a better view, but if you badly need a performance boost, decreasing the resolution will greatly improve your fps. Full Screen is the best choice performance-wise, but you might prefer Borderless Window if you have a multi-monitor setup and you wish to move quickly on another display.
DX11 provides the best performance on most modern systems, but I recommend trying also DX9 on yours as the results may be different. Vulkan is only slightly behind DX I believe this API might become the superior choice in the future as Valve drastically improved it in the past years. Here are two comparative images with the slider set to Fastest and Best Looking.
Additive Light Pass no fps loss in some areas of the map. I suggest disabling all the lighting and bloom options as they generate visual effects on your screen that do not influence negatively only your performance, but also your gameplay. Regarding the others, it mostly depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you aim to maximize the fps, just disable them all. It should improve performance under Vulkan and DX A limited number of users reported a loss in performance, so I suggest testing it with your own configuration.
I believe this is the only option you want to max out because the game looks noticeably better without adding distracting effects. It has a low to medium impact on your performance. Decrease it only if you really need any extra fps increase.
I warmly recommend to not change this setting if possible.Would love to record in 60 fps p if possible, if not p while keeping 60 fps constantly. Free shippin Another new window will open. Select the drive in which Dota 2 is installed and click on Optimize.
Give it some time, it may take from 1 hour to 5 hours depending upon the size of your hard disk and you are done.

Last week I upgraded from a ti to a gtx 6gb non-sc card and have noticed FPS drops when playing Dota 2 with ultra settings. I never had any issue with my ti in Dota 2 with the same settings which is what makes this so frustrating!
It goes from 60 fps to fps I have vsync setting in dota turned on. I didn't change any my ultra quality settings since I couldn't imagine that the gtx 6gb non-sc card could not handle what my ti could. I use an aggressive fan curve with the precision xoc.
I do not overclock the card. I've run multiple benchmarks in Unigine Heaven and the results are stable and appropriate for the card. I had the latest driver installed - I've searched Google high and low and have tried and solutions remotely relative with no luck. There was one post with the same issue but for League of Legends - person went from a ti to gtx and had fps drops but sadly there were no responses with solutions.Srg latest key
Any thoughts? Update: Issue seems to be fixed! Only played two games of Dota 2 thus far so additional testing will need to be done but the games were about an hour long each with many major team fights graphic intensive. I did however reinstall the latest driver - Played a bot game first to rule out possible network factors, ran smoothly.Menu Menu.🔧 Dota 2: Dramatically increase performance / FPS with any setup! Now I've got a k and a GTX so this really shouldn't be happening. Something ain't right. Neither has helped this issue. This occurred both on Source 1 and 2. Dota 2 console. GPU Tracer Coming soon. Last edited by Jacob29; at PM.
Last edited by Sorena; at AM. Sorry about the delay in response I couldn't get to my computer over the weekend. Hero like PL still makes my fps drop to 50s still. It states 20 something on the screenshot but that was due to the screenshot software, it was actually around bouncing around. I tried it by watching a regular game and for the most part the openGL seems to perform slightly better, enough to stable me out at pretty much Without vsync I get max like 90fps so my fps dreams are still dead.
I don't believe this is the case. Last edited by Sorena; at PM. Make sure you've set the option in the video settings to "exclusive fullscreen". If its borderless or whatever it will not utilize your GPU properly and thus you might be getting the lower performance. Originally Posted by Sorena. Originally Posted by SlickR. I have the exact same issue. It is not related to settings, drivers, memory, hard drive speeds, power settings or anything either hardware or software. The issue is with Dota 2 Reborn only, and is some weird optimization bug in the game, affecting certain configurations. As you do, I have aand most people with this problem seem to have series cards, but not all. I do believe all we can do is to wait for a fix from Valve or nVidia.

DOTA 2 LOW FPS with i5-6500 and GTX 1060
Low fps on gtx Hello, I have a graphics card gtx 6GB. In all games, it proved to be only in the best possible way. But in DotA 2 is all very bad. FPS jumpscome-drops to 50 fps. It's horrible. In the previous video card R9 FPS was more. Are there any tips? S: Sorry for bad english, I'm using a translator. You can manually add dota2.
One of the most common errors with hardware not being fully utilized is their power settings being undertuned. You can switch it from "Adaptive" to "Always prefer maximum power" so it doesn't go into idle mode. That is however going to heat up your PC and electricity bill though. Get a new motherboard, solved my problem with fps. I had the and I was running at around 30 fps, but when I got a new motherboard, it jumped to average fps in a ranked game, on the waiting screen it's fps. I hope this helps you.
Here are screenshots 1. Last edited by Acypa; at PM. For me I have an Asus motherboard that costed a few hundred dollars it's been pretty reliable so I would suggest getting an Asus motherboard that'll fit the dimensions of your computer, don't try to get a cheap one if you want high fps.
